Today’s FamilyFirst site floored me.
When I went to the site for the first time, it came on like a reality TV presentation. Now I realize that the medium has its fans, otherwise it wouldn’t be as popular as it is. But I have to tell you, it’s not my cup of tea.
However, I stuck around for what was next. That’s where I was blown away.
I will attempt to play up the reality TV part now, but remember, this is like a Hasidic Jew writing about the benefits of eating pork. So keep that in mind.
Joel Comm, the owner of this site and many others, is a good friend whom I met up with thirteen years ago when I was looking for a writing gig. Joel decided to make a full-on commitment to the internet when it was a hot item. He also had the business savvy to weather the dot com bust. Afterwards, he became a master of the great business plan as it applies to online business.
I have been very fortunate to have learned a tremendous amount from this man, and to have implemented his advice into some quite successful online ventures of my own.
His next Big Thing is quite Donald Trump-esque. He’s looking for an internet entrepreneur to partner up with him and make a few million bucks.
Believe me, that’s no biggie for Joel.
Anyhow, you can enter the contest yourself, or at the very least watch the competition.
Now THIS is the part that impressed me: Joel has amassed a veritable cornucopia of money-making ideas that have a solid base. This is not the “send me a referral I’ll pay you five bucks” insanity circa 1998. No, we’re talking about SOLID business plans that, if you follow them, will allow you to work from a home office for a living.
I’m one of those one in a thousand: I love my job, where I’ve worked for twenty years. But I guarantee you, if I was so inclined to quit it, I could do so with the knowledge Joel offers for a laughably low price.
